Independent kids

Our kids are fairly independent. They like to make their own breakfast. I drew the line the other day when Emma was teaching Ruth to make toast on her own. I got in there before we ended up with a knife in the toaster or anything like that.

It can be pretty bad. Ruth wants to use the microwave on her own. Emma already uses the microwave on her own. Ruth is teaching herself to potty train. (This part isn't so bad, really.)

Hard to say how far this could go. We just kind of have to keep on eye on these kids.

They are good kids, at least...
