Our Anniversary is Sunday. we ditched the kids and went to dinner tonight.
We went to Outback Steakhouse. They ended up cooking Tara's steak a little too much, it was all dried out. We ended up sending it back, the manager came and comped both our appetizers. We ended up having about $15 taken off the check. (And Tara got her steak back to take home, and the tossed her side dish back in.)
Not a bad deal. And my steak was good.

Last time we were at Outback, (2 or 3 years ago) it was kind of dark in the place. We thought it kind of odd. This time, when we came in, it was quite bright. At 8:30pm, all the lights in the place dimmed. They must dim the lights as the sun goes down.
Maybe it's an Australia thing. Or maybe they are worried about air raids...
