Book Review

I am Jackie Chan: my life in action

This book talks about the life of Jackie Chan.

The first half of the book talked about his 10 years in a school for Chinese Opera. There he learned Kung Fu, amoung other things. (It was an interesting place, to say the least.)

The second half of the book talks about his rise to stardom. After getting out of the school, he became a stunt man, and eventully works his way into acting, becoming famous after Bruce Lee died.

One of the things I liked about the book is that you get little synopsis of his movies, and synopsis of all the major injuries he has gotten doing his own stunts. I can relate to that.

The book also has a new chapter every 4 or 5 pages, which makes it easy to read, especially if you are walking doing the street and need to stop to cross streets and things like that, if you time it right, you can end the chapter, cross the street, and start the next. Just a little tidbit.
