American Legend - The real life adventures of David Crockett

This book is about Davy Crockett. It's okay if you have the song going through your head right now, I've had it running through mine for the last week and a half.

This book is interesting, it talks about Davy Crockett's life in the military, in Congress, and at 'home'. (Not that he was there much.) It was a very interesting book to read.

The book tries to show the facts behind Crockett's life, and show what of the folklore is just tall tales. The book, of course, ends with the battle of the Alamo, where Davy Crockett died.

Anyway, it's good read.
