Book Report
Reality Conditions: Short Mathematical Fiction
Alex Kasman
This was sort of an odd little book. It's a book of short stories, all with a mathematical topic or twist or some sort of thread. I liked a number of the stories.
The author gives a short little paragraph or 2 at the end of the book for each story, talking about what's real and what's not. My favorite quote from back there: "I do not really believe that learning about these mathematical subjects earlier would allow us to teleport our bodies from room to room..."
Tara asked me if I liked the book as I finished. In the room was her, my parents, and myself. The thought that came to me was that I liked the book, but I was the only one in the room who was likely to appreciate it...
