Q: Why are you still up?

I went back to the office after the last post to drop off tools. The lock on the outside door would not engage. I called University Police, they came over to lock it. The kid that came looked at it, and said "I've dealt with this door before." He opened the other door, held the non-locking door closed, and beat the tar out of the middle post for the door until the lock engaged. I was highly impressed. That's my kind of solution.

Getting home, I decided to work on our Print/Scan/Copier. It's been giving scanner errors for a while. I took the thing apart and cleaned the mirrors, and it has now scanned 1 document. We'll see how long it lasts.

(I figured I might as well continue to work on hardware, doing stuff I have never actually done, but am fully qualified to do, and fully confidant that I can do, even if it is 3:30 in the morning.)

We'll see how long the scanner continues to work.
