Christmas Traditions

One of our Christmas Traditions is to post all cards and pictures we get up on the wall in the front hallway. Here is this year's entries.

One of our other traditions has been to decorate our tree with the 200 some odd decorations we have for it. We didn't really get that done this year. We asked the girls to clean their rooms before we put decorations on. About 2 1/2 weeks ago, they finally finished, but it was too late that night for them to do anything about it. The next day, their rooms were disaster areas again. The tree went out with lights, garland, and the glass sphere ornaments the girls are not allowed to touch anyway. The tree looked fine, we may try the same thing next year in the (faint) hope that their rooms might get clean, since the tree looks good without all the ornaments.

I also have a tradition of taking down the tree on New Year's Day. It's down now. I had a new box to put the branches in (our tree is fake), but after filling it, I found that the box wouldn't fit in the opening for the basement, so I am now storing the tree outside.
