Basketball game

We ended up not having Stake meetings tonight, we had vouchers for basketball tickets, and the game started at 6pm (not too late.), so we took the girls to the game.

I went and got each of them a popcorn this time, instead of trying to get them to share a bag, then going back for more. All in all, this seemed to work fairly well. I only spent $20 in concessions, which was very good for a trip to a basketball game. The game was a total blowout, (for us, not them) which makes it easier to deal with when you are juggling 6 kids during the game.

We had 3 or 4 very obnoxious little kids sitting a few rows behind us. If we had the ball, they screamed at the top of their lungs for us to score. If they had the ball, they screamed at the top of their lungs, deriding the other team. Not good sports at all.

After the game, when we got to the car, we had a little talk with the girls about what sportsmanship was, both good and bad, and how we expected them to act. Not sure if it sunk in, but I think they understood that those little kids were not acting in a way that was acceptable. Hopefully.
