At the drive through here, they have an automated drink dispenser. They enter the drink order to the register, and the machine drops the right size cup into the conveyor, pulls it over to the ice machine, drops ice in, then over to the drink dispenser, and fills the cup. All without any human intervention. That's what I call thinking.
If they keep it up along those lines, the entire McDonald's organization will eventually be run from one Operations Center in Topeka, Kansas, by a staff of 35 people. That's when they really will start raking in the money.
