University Employee Christmas party

As previously mentioned, this morning we went to a Christmas party. It's mostly for the kids, although I ate 4 doughnuts, and could have eaten as many as I wanted to.

We really didn't let Ruth do a whole lot . It's hard being a baby sometimes. In a few weeks she won't we the one we are focused on anymore, and she'll get to do whatever she wants...

It took an hour and a half to get to Santa. Tara did all the waiting. I did some occasional wandering around. Ruth was petrified of Santa, and didn't get in for the picture. In previous years, we didn't get in the Santa line.

The old standby. Normally for the party, he has a santa hat on.

The girls made candy cane bracelets for their craft. We decided to talk them into all doing the same thing. It seemed safer that way.

The girls played musical chairs at one of the activity stations. Emma is suprisingly good at that game. Tara's theory is that she's had to force her way into getting things around here, it's made her good at it. The girls seem to have enjoyed the party.
