The Baseball Book
Sports Illustrated

This was an interesting book. They put together (what I assume were) their favorite/best baseball articles over the years, mostly editorial pieces on baseball topics more than game recaps or anything like that. The book's format was an article, several pages of pictures, a feature on a particular decade, several pages of pictures, then back to another article. They do this for 300 pages.

Emma and Ruth both spent time looking at the pictures in the book, but I think they both got tired of waiting for the next page when I got to a page with an article on it. They really liked the pictures when they were there...
