Driving a deathtrap

I've been driving Drew's little white car the last few days, I've nicknamed it "the deathtrap". This is mostly due to the fact that it's a little unnerving to drive around with just a lap belt, no shoulder belt. It also reminds me strongly of The Escort, only a little nicer.

The hood to Drew's car bounces a little. The hood to the Escort started bouncing a lot after I accidently rammed a wall.

The steering column feels like Drew's car is starting to have a bit of a ball bearing problem. (It shakes.) The escort used to have a bad bearing problem, I finally got it fixed when I saw someone else driving it, and the wheel was wobbling.

Rob and I used to be able to go 100 MPH down the freeway back from work. If we unrolled the windows, the car would drop to 90MPH, and would refuse to go any faster.

The escort didn't have AC or a good stereo system.

OK, so maybe Drew's car isn't all that bad. Maybe I need to go down to the wrecking yard and try to find a door with a shoulder belt mechanism for Drew...
