Last night, I had an outage scheduled. I scheduled it 7 weeks ago, and we had a number of other groups want to piggy back on for last night, since we were going to have all the DBs down.
We had a HW problem on one of the DB machines, a pretty big SW issue, and a Database that refused to boot back up. All in all, we missed the outage window by 6 hours. I was at work from 9pm last night until just after 12 this afternoon.
Rob got on about 5:30am, and was interested in playing AoE. I really didn't get available for it, after I got home, I slept until nearly 8pm.
I feel like I lost a full day.
