Bedroom Update

I got the second coat of paint on the ceiling today, and the first coat on the walls. I should be in there right now doing the second coat on the walls, but I am being lazy. Soon there will be no trace of the pink. No pink bleeding into the hallway, no children dreaming of Pepto-Bismol.

This morning, while I was painting the wall, I went out of the room for a minute, when I came back I found Lily sitting on a stool, staring at the wall, with an open pen in her hand. I was like she was staring at a blank canvas, picturing what she was about to draw. It was equal parts hilarious and not-at-all funny. I quickly escorted her out of the room. Sometimes I just can't win.

I ended up getting off my rear and putting the second coat on the wall. Only thing left is the door & window trim and the baseboards...

Your paint job looks really nice. My older daughter, Kristie, once told me that those Magic Erasers work pretty good on marker and crayon. You might want to stock up on some since it sounds like your little artist still has a hankering to decorate. When my youngest daughter was little, she liked to frequently decorate our playroom wall with crayon. I finally gave her some 409 and had her scrub it off by herself. She never bothered to decorate anymore after that. :)

denatured alcohol will remove permanent marker from most surfaces.
