Lemon cake

I had started this with the intent of making a pistachio cake, but we had no pistachio pudding mix, so I made a lemon cake. Then I tried melting some chocolate chips and M&Ms to put on top, but I guess M&Ms melt in your mouth, not in your double boiler... The chocolate mixture got chilled into a round pan. It is currently sitting under the cake, you can barely see it.

I used chocolate syrup and walnuts on top. It was served with chocolate brownie ice cream, and there you have it. Tara, Kate, and Emma seemed to like it, everyone else is asleep...
