Drugs and "The Matrix"

We were watching Sportscenter here after the Cub's game ended, I was keeping Madilynn asleep for Amy. They did a segment on Darren Daulton and his crazy beliefs. (Crazy enough to make a post here for you to go read about it...) He used to be a catcher for the Phillies, Marlins, etc.

Basically, it sounds like he once dropped acid while watching The Matrix. He thinks in 6 years a large number of people would transfer to a higher dimention. SI.com did the story in February. (It's weird, as the story shows. One quote from this guy: "Reality is created and guarded by numeric patterns that overlap and awaken human consciousness, like a giant matrix or hologram") This guy is just crazy. I don't think he got hit in the head by the ball too many times while he was playing, but maybe he needs it now. He really wants to manage in the major leagues, but the team would have to be crazy to touch this guy.

Just goes to show what really wild living, drugs, and alcohol can do to you.

He's writing a book. More from the story: "If They Only Knew! would also reveal the secrets of the pyramids, which Daulton insists are strategically placed all over the galaxy: the moon, Mars..." "Vegas? "What goes above, also goes below," Daulton says, cryptically." "He believes the Mayan temples were built not by the Mayans, who were merely caretakers, but by a lost civilization. Possibly the Atlanteans, who allegedly disappeared beneath the waves. Possibly space aliens."
